Mr. Johnny Mfoafo-M’Carthy

Johnny has over 23 years of experience in the Engineering and Construction industry. He has worked in the engineering consulting environment as both a consultant and as a client. Due to his exceptional leadership skills, he has played many roles on several projects including as a project manager, project controls manager, and construction manager. He uses his expertise in construction, cost engineering, project management, strategy formation, and business planning to deliver projects to the tune of $500M.

Johnny has an M.Sc. in International Construction Management from the University of Bath, UK, a B.Sc. degree in Building Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Ghana, and Certificates in Construction Estimating and Construction Project Management from George Brown College, Canada.

In addition, Johnny has professional certificates from the Project Management Institute (PMP), Royal Institute of Surveyors (MRICS), and Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (PQS).

Mr. Moses Nkuah

Moses is a senior project professional with hands-on experience in project management, quantity surveying, cost controls, cost estimating, earned value analysis, risk management, and scheduling on small to large capital projects. He holds an MBA from Athabasca University, Canada, an M.Eng. in Construction and Engineering Management from the University of Alberta, Canada. Moses also has several certifications which include Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Earned Value Professional (EVP), Certified Cost Professional (CCP),Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (FGHIS), and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Moses is a strong team leader with a positive attitude and good work ethic who is proficient in managing, planning, developing, coordinating, networking, resolving issues, and preparing recommendations. He can adapt to changing situations and demonstrates a high level of composure and professionalism.

Some of the notable projects he has managed include the Far East LNG project in Russia ($4.5 billion), Tengizchevroil LLP, Future Growth in Kazakhstan ($ 2.7 billion), ExxonMobil Kearl Expansion Project in Alberta, Canada ($350 million), Petro Canada Fort Hills Project ($12 billion) and various projects ranging between $25,000 to $250 million.

Moses has several publications in project management, which include “Effective Lump Sum Contracting on Major Capital Projects,” 2016, “Oil & Gas Reimbursable Construction Contracts, Cost Management,” 2014, “Progress & Performance Control of Reimbursable Contracts,” 2006 and “Analysis of Change Order Markups on Stipulated Price Contracts,” 2002.

Ms. Naomi Asiedu

Naomi is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Administration (Human Resource option) as well as a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management.

She is currently the Managing Partner at Fortress Legal, a private legal firm in Accra-Ghana. Before becoming a lawyer, Naomi worked as a manager at The Man Media Consult, the marketing office for the United Bank for Africa (UBA) as well as an administrator for Africa Legal Aid.

Naomi is a board member of Obeng Empire and is responsible for all legal matters for the company.

Mr. Frederick Obeng Asiedu

Frederick has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an advanced diploma in Business Management from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and he has a project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Frederick is the CEO and Board Chairman of Obeng Empire. He brings to the company over 17 years of engineering, project management, and entrepreneurial experience across a diverse industry both nationally and internationally (Ghana, Canada, USA, and Australia). He has managed projects ranging from $50,000 to $250 million and collaborated with various stakeholders. Frederick has managed a variety of projects including compressor stations, well tie-in, natural gas plants, pipelines, SAGD, and storage terminals.

Frederick is an exceptional leader with a high level of business acumen. His experiences include portfolio management, business development, and negotiations.

He is responsible for the business development and the overall management of the company.

Dr. David Boadi

David is a seasoned process engineer with over 30 years of experience in various engineering disciplines and has an extensive background in research. David has a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Technion Institute of Technology, Israel, and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

David has worked as a Manager of Research and Technology Compliance Program for the Canada Revenue Agency, Project Development Manager for Enerflow, and an Industrial Research Leader for Imperial Oil. He also has several research papers and publications to his name.

Mr. Samuel  Adjepong Danquah

Samuel is currently a PhD candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at Norfolk State University, Virginia USA where he received his Master’s of Science (MSc) degree in Optical Engineering as well. In addition, Samuel obtained his Bachelor’s of Science (BSc) degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana.

Samuel provided innovative solutions and responded to clients need with value and high quality service when working at Engineering Consulting Services as a Field Engineer in Chantilly, Va USA.

Samuel has worked as a head of Business Advisory Center (BAC) for National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) a non-profit public sector organization under the ministry of trade, industry and presidential special initiatives at Abura Asebu Kwamankese District in the Central region Ghana.

He has managed project such as Rural Enterprises Project (REP) funded by Government of Ghana (GOG), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)
